The Case Axe Handle 6.5 BoneStag Pocket Knife is an entirely new knife pattern created by Case and knife maker Bill Ruple in 2026. This knife’s name comes from the handle’s unique profile, which resembles the handle of a traditional axe. The handle itself is 4-inches long, making it very easy to grip. It’s unique contours fit very comfortably in your hand. The Axe Handle makes the perfect medium-sized everyday carry.
The Axe Handle’s blade is versatile slip joint clip blade, adept at any number of everyday tasks with a rounded belly and a sharp point.
The Case 6.5 BoneStag handles of this Axe Handle knife have an inlaid oval-shaped metal Case Knives shield. The bone is made from the shin bone of Zebu cattle, a very rugged material. As the bone is a natural material, the handles of each of these knives are all unique and may not exactly match the image.
The blades on this knife are made from mirror-polished Tru-Sharp surgical stainless steel, which is tough enough to get the job done, corrosion resistant, and easy to resharpen after a hard day’s work.
Each Axe Handle knife has a pattern stamp of BR’135. “BR” refers to Bill Ruple’s influence, “1” is for the fact this is his first collaboration with Case, and “35” honors his 35 years of knife making.
The Case 6.5 BoneStag Axe Handle Knife is made in Bradford, Pennsylvania, USA from domestic and imported materials, and is backed by Case’s limited lifetime warranty.
